STATEMENT: AFPI Commends Bill Requiring Transparency and Integrity in Education
March 20, 2023
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, the America First Policy Institute (AFPI) released the following statement commending state-level legislation that protects parents rights while promoting transparency and integrity in education.
“I can think of no greater blessing than raising my children. Sure, it was challenging, and some days even felt impossible. But, together with my beautiful wife, we managed to do it. I do not believe in co-parenting with the government, and I never will,” said Lou Holtz, Chair of the Center for 1776 at the America First Policy Institute. “Parental rights are a God-given blessing. I am deeply saddened to see our country even debating who should have the right to raise our children. If we allow the destruction of the family, we will see the destruction of society. Thank God for the state and national lawmakers fighting for families and to protect parents’ sacred right to parent.”
